Vanguard's weapons

Look at this pic.

It shure looks like it has two 20mm cannons. But in the paragraph on the Vanguard on the official site it says it only has one. im confused.

The Vanguard is the main battle tank of the New Conglomerate. Generally well balanced, the Vanguard brings decent speed, solid armor, and hefty firepower to the field. The main turret, which houses both a 20mm and 150mm cannon, is capable of a 3600 pivot, giving the gunner complete attack coverage for the driver.

Some of the info like that is a bit outdated. That is the current pic of the Vanguard that will be in the game that I know of.

...How do you not understand my post. There is ONE machine gun containing TWO barrells. And Dilluted was that directed at me or him.

I just came across a pic of a vanguard with a large cannon looking think rather than the double barrled machine gun. Wich is the most recent?

The picture of the Vanguard with two large guns is amusing. It's not exactly pretty, I wonder what they were thinking... Anyway, it's already the most powerful gun in the game, do we really need TWO of them on one tank? Yes, we do=)

The one currently in the game is the secound one with the two large guns. The Vangaurd originaly had the 20mm's seen in the earlyer pictures of it, but to put it more inline with the other NC weapons and vehicles the 20mm's were replaced with another large gun, enabling it be devistating against slower targets such as MAX's and other vehicles, but it suffers from a pretty slow fire rate and the fact that its big ole cannons are near useless against aircraft and faster infantry at a range (but you can just run those little buggers over)

I think the pic with 2 cannons is an old version of the Vanguard, there was a thred posted about this a month ago, I tried to look it up and get SJ's or Hamma's quote but I couldn't find em.

I've never seen that 2 cannon vanguard before. It looks wierd. Probably an old version.

The one with the two big guns is recent, look at the galaxy, it has 20mm's not 75mms. Look at the Vanguard in the vehicle section of planetside.com , its an old arse picture, and it has the machine guns.
