The clip doesn't mean it will shoot 5 rockets in 2 secs. I have no doubt there will still be a considerable pause between each rocket. (Rocket launcher + Machine gun = )

Saint, I'm pretty sure he was talking about ROF among the AV weapons.

I'm guessing the Striker clip holds >= 6 rounds... and the fact that it actually USES a clip gives it a significant advantage over the Phoenix. 3 phoenix shots are going to take up a LOT of space (rifle slot[s] and inventory). < 3 Striker shots come with the weapon, before you get to the first clip. And I'm sure those clips will be significantly smaller than the phoenix as a whole.

And let's not forget the advantage of "fire-and-forget". Where an NC soldier is sniper-bait, the TR soldier can head for cover.


Seriously: That phoenix contrail is going to be a big arrow pointing to someone imobile. And that'll draw all those bolt-driver toting snipa's like flys on sh!t. When (not if) the missile's 'pilot' dies, I'm guessing it'll go into dumb-fire mode.

Striker can also lock onto vehicles in secondary firemode, nother advantage =)

Has to reattain lock after every shot. Getting this just because the other weapons (can't remember which ones) specify when they don't have to.

Probably not because of the CoF. It doesn't need a particularly small one to hit vehicles at medium range, so there's no particular reason to believe that it will have B-D style accuracy even crouched.
