UI problems

I tried Search first but couldn't find anything about my "problem"

Is it normal that every time I have clicked on a menu my mouse switched to Mouselook? I don't like it that I have to press Tab every few seconds to release it.
Most games I played sofar I had to press and hold the right mouse button to enable Mouselook. Much easier and faster.
I also couldn't find how to look up and down. Not possible in PS?

Mouselook is the normal mode for PS - all directional views are done using mouse. A and D are sidestep - W and S, forward and Back. I admit it takes a bit of getting used to compared to other games but it becomes effortless after playing a while.
