The usual bedside alarm clock with the much used snooze, the tv timer on option for news/weather when I'm in that between alarms stage, then the "ass-ter blaster" boombox last warning alarm that literally blasts me outta bed cause the whole house is shaking from the noise. Those plus I have one lamp on a timer that comes on before all the alarms. A dark room is an invitation to go back to sleep.

The only problem with getting to school on time is that my brother is a heavy sleeper so I have to wait for him before I go to school so I'm late a lot.I'm actually going to use some of these ideas on monday.

Try turning on the lights if it's early and dark in your area. I also set my alarm earlier than I intend to get up and snooze for a bit with the lights on. That and keep the clock in view while half asleep. Instill the fear of being very late in your soul. That's how it works for me.

When you wake up get in the habit of going straight to the shower, after a shower you won't want to go back to sleep.
