I can't understand how having *no* trial will help Sony in any way.
I mean, the Fodder-Program was great, but I can see why Sony did cancel it, but why aren't they handing out trials anymore?

If there's something to learn from WoW, it's how to catch souls! It's with free trials, Blizzard is even sending you their stuff to the doorstep to fix you! Why isn't Sony doing this, too?

Because it has been proved impossible in China.
It almost equal free.
They will register new account again and again.And it is a vicious circle.Once it begin,players don't want to pay for the game.And for the number of online,you must depend on the 'free trial'.

Also for the sony and no trial thing, There was a 14 day trial before they did the reserves thing, and sony being sony hasn't bothered to figure out how to add trials again
