I have been trying to follow all the recent information thats been released
Ive been really busy with work so i may have missed some stuff and am hoping people could help Im wondering if there has been any mention of - Headshots or a body damage model This is how you seperate noobs from skill players - I know ps1 didnt have - but it should have - clientside stuff This was the source of alot of problems in PS1 - but needed to have the large fights they did without alot of lag Will ps2 have this? |

We currently have no information on headshots, but the majority of the community are strongly against them. (As am I).
The devs have said that ping in this game won't effect game-play NEARLY as much as the first game. (A.k.A) client-side issues. Which I am pleased about. No more getting shot around corners =D Last edited by xcel; 2011-07-10 at 10:47 AM. |

It apperently uses a hybrid system of clientside and serverside hit detection. No real details for this yet, but i guess they learned from all those warping and shooting around corner issues. After all, it pissed them off as much as it pissed us off, because quite a few of those devs currently working on Planetside 2 are Planetside players.
