PlanetSide 2 and Australians?

So with there only being one big server where everyone plays. How will us Australians cope? Lag in an FPS is crippling and I really want to play PS2 but I'm Aussie and I don't want to get excited about PS2 if it doesn't have Australian support. Thanks!

But seriously, while I bet US/europe could be combined, I doubt aus/nz could join in the party. You'd have to team up with the chinese.

Smed did say there will be multiple servers at launch. But as they add more territory via planets one server is a possibility.

Guys seriously? The guy asks a question and all you guys have to respond with are a bunch of stereotypes about Australia?

creaturemagic we don't really know what the global plans are for PS2. I would hope that it will be successful enough to have servers around the world. If not, hopefully the netcode is better and can handle lag a bit better as well.
