Plant side population

I've come to notice that this is one of the busiest forums for planet side.(duh) Anyway planet side dosen't seem to be getting a lot of peoples attention. Like gamespot dosen't show a lot on planet side. Its not even top 10 game and this game seems like its going to be a break threw in games like delta force was and grand theft auto 3. For a game so great .... how come so little know ? What are your thoughts ?

keep it that way, i wanna get into beta. Lol, we have an estimated population of 20,000 i think. I try to tell more people each day, so i get another few people who like the idea(and can play it) each week. I dont doubt this will equal the size of everquest.

you have to remember that this game has been complete black box until very recently, and they are just now getting add space, etc. I am sure that over the next month there will be a huge growth in the community, and once the open beta comes out I think that there will be flocks of people looking into this game *we need more targets

well actually I checked gamespot a couple days ago and it was place #9 i beleive but still i think ps isn't getting as much credit as it should. I mentioned it to a few ppl about PS and they never heard about it but once i told them they thought they would like it.

Mark, for avatar:
1) Find small pic, NC rocks smiley for example.
2) Save onto your computer as a jpeg I believe. Check to see what kind of file it needs to be.
3) Click browse on Avatar page, find your smiley. Upload it, submit.
For Sig:
1) PM Airlift and ask him to make you a sig, or make your own with photoshop.
2) Pester BOHICA clan member until they host it, or host it on some site yourself.
3) Place the url of the site it's on in [img] [/img] tags.
4) Voila!

Id like to consider myself a gamer, but i never check sites like Gamespot and the like. The only adds i ever see are on IGN Vault, but ive taken steps to get rid of most of them

You never know with the size thing. If PS spreads out enoguh (not likely) it could dwarf EQ. Theres that MMORPG in Korea (Lineage?) thats over 4 million.

I really don't like the fact that there is no head shot. Think about it if your a sniper and you wanna pick people off fast from far away it won't work. No head shot. Or if you hit someone in the toe it does the same amount of damage as if i hit them in the head. Not Cool.

I have an avetar of my own i made and i do believe i've made over 20 post and hell ill get it sooner or later so thanks.

I really dont like explaining what planet side is to everyone. They cant seem to grip that its an actual planet with no limits and with vehicals that are 10 times better then battle field and with team work playing that actully matters. no one man takes on the world. I have a feeling that after release is when the game will be noticed. Like grand theft auto 3. Before grand theft auto 3 the game was fun with low graphics and after it was never forgoten for it seemly endless boundrys. Just like planet side ... accept you cant steal someones tank and then run them over with there own tank.
