From all that I've read, haven't seen PS2 vehicles or weapons that strike me as being real advanced. SOE seems to be going for a more gritty feel. No brightly glowing force shields. Which I like. But no reason the future can't be better.
So my ideas for some gritty, down in the dirt, advanced tech they could have in PS2.

I think i read about an idea for deploying whole minefields somewhere on here...
I would definitely be interested in the idea of having deployable drones, however i'm not sure i like the idea of them being a pet-like assault force multiplier as much a defensive device for otherwise undefended bases/areas. Like a patrolling turret with limited mobility and a 180 degree blind spot. I think the router is a pretty good example of advanced tech, i'm hoping the concept makes a comeback! I do however rekon the core combat vehicles looked a bit out of place. Other ideas? Infantry designated laser guidance for bombers or artillery? MIRV type weapons? |

Remember a lot of what Sony has up there sleeves for both vehicles and infantry hasn't been revealed yet. So I would expect to see a lot of diversity in the customizations that will be available. Personally I'm hoping for a plethora of innovative cloaker tools to help them accomplish their assorted missions.
