I found it interesting that many of us had the same mental image of what the VS fighter should look like. For example, when we found out the name was changed from "Dyson" to "Scythe" I think everybody approved because it fit better even though we still didn't know what it looked like. Then, when we saw the little fighter in the concept art, we seemed to just know that it was the Scythe. I don't think it's because we are a bunch of Battlestar Galactica fans. I just think sometimes a design is more discovered than it is created, and those are the best ones.

Its true, thats interesting.

I guess Scythe connotates to something sleek and curved, and then when we put those two adjectives into an aircraft with a sci-fi theme behind it, we all sort of came up with the same ideas, like the Cylons, Supreme Commander etc

I really like how it looks. As i said before, it doesn't look like human tech with Alien tech bolted on to it. It looks like its been designed with Alien Tech from the ground up, if you see what i mean.
