Sneak Peek at Mini Map and Possible Base Shields

Higby food tweets always seem to have a little PS2 drizzled in.



You can see the mini map in the bottom corner as well as what I think capitol force dome type shield in the back ground. I could be wrong.

Seen the force dome in the tweeted pic of the TR with a rocket launcher; although in that picture it was only covering part of the courtyard. You can see in this one the separate domes over each part.

More interesting are the icons on his desktop...

Could be an uncap base. We still don't know if those will be colossal ships sitting in low orbit or if they're just typical, shielded bases in the farthest corners of the map.

I think at one point one dev commented that they are still deciding if those ship things will be in at release or not, so odds that they are the uncappable bases is sadly quite low

I like the direction that they are going with the terrain. It looks clean and open (like PS), which is great for vehicle combat, but not as bland as PS.

You can also see the "PlanetSide2 (QA)" icon on his desktop. ^_^
