I believe it increases with the level of the person being killed. The devs said something about "if you kill someone worth 500 exp the whole squad gets it" remember? Ill assume that if you get 100bep just for visiting somewhere new, 500 is a low lvl character and will increase with rank.

I would think it would be:
[...1...]-[...2...]-[...3...] in an RPG you get more Hit point, armor class or mana per level. So the amount of exp needed to advance gets more and more. in PS you only get a cert. the same reward for every rank 1 - 20. It would make sense to make all levels of equal length

If I was a bettin' man, I'd say exponentially. That's how it is with many other MMOGs. Yes, the others are RPGs and you get more than just cert points... But I look at it this way: If it is exponential, then that Rank 20 will mean something. It will take much longer to get there, so you will constantly have something to work towards until you get it.

Why would a higher BR player be worth more BEPs then a lower ranked one if the BEP per level didn't rise? |
