When I die (actually make that IF I die), I want to have death be in style. I don't want my bloody corpse just lying there, a casket atleast looks nice. If only there was a funeral.

And yet, how will it all work? Will the caskets just suddenly pop from nowhere when someone dies? And if you go to loot someone's corpse, do you have to open the casket?

After you die, and release, you leave a coffin. Your coffin contains your entire inventory. Friend or foe after that can loot your coffin, so yes you open it to loot it, but I am not sure if there is any animation for it.

i like the whole coffin thing, to many rpgs i have played where you have to loot your own damn body, instead of a nice lil neet coffin :0

hmm... i thing the caskets/coffins are there to lighten the load on the servers. Bodies that all have different configs would be harder to maintain, so its ok. Its just ike the bodies in TFC,CS, and all other FPSes, but these act like bodies in MMORPGs were u can loot them, you can even loot empire specific weapons and keep them in ur locker(sppssss! come here, wanna se my merchandise!!!)! So these caskets are pretty sweet because of what they allow!

-Dark- Bodies would be cool though!
