Re: E Gaming? Is it possible in PS2?

when a game is picked up by esl,,, it is ran by the admins of the league. therefore all rules and requirements are made by them.
first and foremost , the game itself has to have the population and the players willing to take part in a ps2 league. once that is done then those involved will have to download a thirdparty program which monitors and records all gameplay from everyone who is in the league. then you have to have a good connection just to compete. once you pass the ping test then its game on. but the els knows gaming and they know balance, so it would not surprise me in the least if this game is picked up..... they will require common pool weapons only/ NS weapons only . restrictions to classes per squad,1 med , 1 engy ,1 hacker. tech and ce restrictions , and more. competitions are held for cash prizes and for outfit ranking. all competitions would be reviewed ,videos would be watched, all data received would be cross checked to make sure nobody was hacking. then they announce a winner.
Games that are played as electronic sports normally belong to the real-time strategy (RTS), fighting, first-person shooter (FPS), massively-multiplayer online (MMOG), and racing genres. They are played competitively at amateur, semi-professional and professional levels including in leagues and tournaments. The definition of a pro gamer is someone whose sole income is generated from gaming. Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty is currently the most popular eSports event, with players such as IMNesTea and IMMvp earning hundreds of thousands of U.S. dollars per year. Events such as MLG(Major League Gaming), GSL(Global Starcraft League), WCG(World Cyber Games), Dreamhack, and GSTL(Global Starcraft Team league) provide real-time casting of streamed games.
this is on another level.... but if things play out right, and higby already stated hes a BIG fan of esports. then yes you will see a els ps2 league and ill be in it.
