In a previous interview, it was said that the reason they wouldn't make a system for custom outfit decals was simply because it would need programming time/money + constant filtering time/money for all the you know whats being spammed.
Why not make custom outfit decals a cash shop feature. Something like, 20-40$. Don't want the price to low, so that everyone just spams them, or to high to make it ridiculous as a purchase. It's not exactly something your gonna buy every other week (once/twice a year to change/update it? never again?) A deterrent price would limit the submissions/requests for custom decals to only the serious outfits. Which would make for a very manageable flow of requests that would tapper off to a trickle once everyone is situated. Who thinks something like this would make it work? I've had thoughts along similar lines.
Even if it had to cost something like $100, it would still be worth it for certain individuals, and especially outfits who can pool their money together. I really hope they do this. As long as they keep the free logos available, made from pieces like in PS1, so that you didn't HAVE to pay money to have a logo, you just had to pay money for the opportunity to have the exact custom logo that you wanted. |
