NC. Essentially capitalists looking out for their best interest and destabilizing society as a result. Far future occupy protests, anyone? VS I'm in line with as much as TR, but I'm not down with the purple or the far fetched energy based weapons. Would much rather ram a slug into somebody than suspend disbelief and pew pew. Besides, the TR upheld a utopian society for a thousand years. I understand the VS wanting to move forward via technology, but there are a lot of boots we need to buckle before we can move in that direction. The NC are just greed mongers and pirates.

I played VS for the vast majority of my PS career. Dabbled in both TR and NC and while I love the MCG I absolutely abhor their looks. Red/black with round goggles are horrid. NC have the scattercannon, vanny, noobhammer, and their Rexo looks decent.
All sides had their share of good and bad teamwork.

Jackhammer, the NC's Heavy Assault weapon. Had the fastest TTK of all the HA, and at close range required little to no skill to use. Though it was essentially useless outdoors. It was a three barreled heavy shotgun with a secondary fire mode that would unload all 3 barrels in less than a second. 2 shots to kill an Agile exosuit and 3 to kill a Reinforced exosuit wearer, though the secondary fire did increase pellet spread dramatically.

Every rebellion against tyranny is the result of people looking out for their best interests, and society often destabilizes when fascism is overthrown. Funny how in bed the economically illiterate left is with the government and status quo, while desperately trying to claim to be against "the system"

Anyway I voted VS since that seems to be what everyone on this forum claims is the kEwLest

Meanwhile, the NC enjoy personal freedoms despite containing some morally questionable types. I'm not sure you can call them greedy though considering they're the poorest empire going.

Edit: Isn't it only the terran republic on terra that's considered a utopian society? I'm pretty sure the TR on Auraxis are governmentally and socially in a far worse place.

I'm calling them greedy because they're funded by industry giants who want complete free roam over the resources of Auraxis, which would subsequently yield untold profit and power. Doesn't sound especially magnanimous to me, call them freedom fighters or call them greed mongers.

Industry giants are voluntary associations, so they would naturally be against violent and oppressive involuntary associations. Makes perfect sense for participants of a free market to support anti-fascist rebellions
