On Letting more into Beta, dont drool, its just an update about some test or whatnot.

one question how are people like us (people who post on these forums everyday) going to get to play the beta, i heard like they accept 50 more people everyday or week? if so thats pretty dumb, and those beta journals, who are the players in that? are they just those 50 beta tester who LUCKILY got picked? or are they staff or what? or will SOE say: "TODAY IS THE DAY WHEN WE START CHOOSING WHO WILL BE PICKED TO PLAY THE PUBLIC BETA, WE WILL EMAIL YOU IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS IF YOU ARE PICKED"? (like the wc3 frozen throne beta) because if they have sent out emails to people who signed up so far, i think those people would of posted on these forums or something saying they go in, wouldn`t you?


I think this is important or something.. maybe I dunno, this Beta thing sounds complicated...

The NDA that the beta testers agreed to is still effect. It has nothing to do with their Station ID. Under the terms of the NDA, the beta testers are not permitted, to come here and talk about it. And they won't break the NDA because, if they did, they would be removed from the test.

We'll be letting a lot more players in the upcoming weeks. In the meantime, I am posting the beta journals to give you all a feel for what is happening in the beta and what we are testing at this time.

It's coming. I promise.

You'd think that if people were that interested in the beta for PS then they would read the obviouse information that is around concerning the subject. I mean who, thats interested in beta, dosn't know already about how the beta is worked out with the 1000 exclusive beta people being introduced to the game 50 at a time each week and that the open public beta isn't intill after that? Honestly.

I just find it boringly/depressingly typical that there are the n00bs that don't know how MMOG betas work. Or any beta for that matter.

To back Sporkfire up here...we have 100 testers in now. I authorized another 50 tonight. I'll authorize another 50 tomorrow. We'll do more the next week.
And soon, the Open Beta will occur with over 20,000 people in the game.
