See, that looks okay to me, but it also looks like the helmet and the ridge are more defined, the current one is just a constant curve.

I kind of have the same opinion now. It definitely feels monster-like through its proportions but I wish it would look nastier, vicious, brutal with more alien-like features.

The TR HA has TR ideology all over it: it looks brutal, oppressive, as if it was just there to crush you on the ground and grind you to nothingness.

On the contrary, The NC HA does not look like it will be used by impersonal crazed psychopaths ready to fuck up anyone in their path of global domination. You can the willingness to fight, to not back down, using any resource available. It does not look oppressive at all but reflects the idea of standing your ground.

I wish the VS HA had the unnatural, defiled, monster-like aspects all over it. Something truly scary and deranging explaining why the VS is seen as a cluster of abominations instead of the purely "technology" themed empire.

Story-wise, it's essentially TR vs. NC, fighting each other for ideology but still basically the same and human. The VS, while not entirely alien (yet), should really be that "unaligned" empire, with its motives not defined as "against" but as "for itself".

It wasn't as present in PS1 but I do love the "still human but we're not so sure" vibe that seems to be more present in PS2.

So far I see meh paintjobs, especially with TR grey suits not being black and red.


Even the HA TR suit is black n violet...but not black and true TR red.

Pretty much this... and the close of the helmet makes it look a little too pointy on the top. Over all I like it... but it doesn't wow me as much as the NC does.

Here is a link to a revamp I made to helmet of a quick sketch in pen lol. I think it would make the whole VS armor look much better also I agree on the colors being redone I also think the shoulders need to have more flair. Maybe add more angles on the shoulders make more angled edges coming off of them and make them come up the shoulder more.

Sorry, but I'm not much of a fan of all the spikes and such.

Especially the "ears". Don't like the idea of the VS HA being so Elf-like.

The paint job in the one they showed to us really is pretty freakin' boring. No idea why they went so heavy with the grey when purple, teal, and orange are what make the Vanu stand out.

Actually, it's not. If you look closely you can see where the first break occurs in the curve. It's where the first teal stripe in the helmet is.

No I don't mean a constant fin, I mean the sides of the helmet curve straight up to a point, whereas the concept has the sides of the helmet more like the NC one, where the helmet is almost flat horizontally and then it sharply goes up.
