It's time for you to give up on that.

Enter/exit animations won't be in release. Period. No ifs/and/or/buts. They haven't ruled out their addition later in the game, but for now you have to deal with it and move on already.

is there any indication that this is a new gal model?

could also be an older version.

(and it´s never time to quit asking for vehicle enter animations. especially for the galaxy and sunderer)

Amazing. I love that they can take feedback and totally redo things to make them look cooler. These changes really give the vehicle that sleak look. Especially the engine in the back of the wings. Those look amazing.

I approve of the new version. Looks sleeker. I think also that the elevators may rotate now? They have what looks like a rotating disc at their base. That would make the whole thing look much better balanced when hovering.

If you look at the comparison shot I did on the previous page, that textured Galaxy is actually the Planetside: Next picture that we got a long while back. It's just that all of the more recent shots of the Galaxy have looked largely the same shape, so I figured it would still be a fair comparison.

This new model is sleeker and more refined. I never minded the wheels in the PS:Next version, but I do like that this version removes them.

I think it's more likely that the wheels are retracted than that they have been replaced with jet engines. Just not seeing it.

Yeah that's possible. Here's a better shot of the old underside for comparison, with the retracted landing gear. Still looks kind of different to me though.

Awesome. The longer wingspan and more aerodynamic tail is a very cool addition. Looking forward to seeing it textured!

Does anyone know who did the art for the new Gal? We need to have them take a look at that awful Liberator design.

Are you planning on revisiting the Liberator? The changes to the Gal make it look pretty freaking spectacular, and I think the Liberator could use a little more TLC imho. Currently, I'm not confident the Liberator can even take to the air with that double-decker-bus-syndrome.

Haha I can't really say anything on what is/has/ or will be adjusted. :/ I usually just wait until Higby or Tramell shows off what i've been working on before I comment on it.

A lot of the changes fix stuff that bugged me about the original design.

On that note, however, this redesign. Does anybody notice anything slightly... feminine about the design here?

Seeing how that's basically third-person view while flying it. I'm thinking the cockpit may not be right term for the pilot's seat on this baby. Maybe the internet has just turned me into a perv, I dunno.

I dunno. I think the engines should be bigger. Those small things don't look like they'd let a giant heap of metal like the Galaxy get off the ground. Kind of prefer the old version TBH.

Feel free to make a couple of re-design passes on the Lib, is all we're saying.
