I avoided commenting on it because I don't quite know what you mean. I'm going to assume the capture point indicators for the bases just above the radar?
Not really. They are already shown as a 3D indicator, having them displayed again in the menu over the radar seems redundant. EDIT: Oh, unless you mean the indicators which tell a squad where to go and what to do from the mission system? The screen is already cluttered enough in the screenshots, adding more just makes it worse. Something like that that is relatively static compared to the rest of game play can be moved to the map menu. I don't think players need a constant reminder what their goal is every second of play. Please make all indicators adjustable for position and size.

I think one of the things they got right with the PS1 UI is that many parts of it you could toggle on/off or reposition, having these kind of options helps keep people happy as some will want a clean minimal interface while others will want to pack it out with as many information indicators as they can fit in.
