Maybe people might be more inclined to think better of it, if you can shoot a dead body and it comes back alive under your control, that way the enemy has plenty of warning if they are paying attention, but the character would move sluggishly so movement is slow, can't ADS and aiming is slower, and the enemies would see this dead body randomly stand up so they would know something is wrong.

In my observation one of the unspoken design rules of Planetside is that the enemy will not mimic a friendly. Personally I think it's a good way to go. Reduces team-fire incidents and makes a battle more instantly comprehensible.
If you want to disrupt people then throw some grenades at them, plant explosives, attack from a different angle. There don't need to be any rez prevention bullets to achieve that aim. |

This is a very amusing and creative idea, but I must agree with what seems to be the majority opinion: humor for one player is mere frustration for another.
The Infiltrators have a fantastic arsenal of dirty tricks at their disposal already, of course. |

Still, the original idea is a no-no. |

You don't take away a player's control.
It works in survival horror games because they arn't about PvP, and loss of control if a foundation of horror. But this is an FPS war game on a grand scale. This kind of person "mind games" stuff is not realy what PS2 should be about. I want future soldiers and tanks, doing big set piece engagements over big future installations. If I get mind-contoled into frag-rushing my own squad, I just feel like I've been trolled. Needlessly frustrating, bad idea. |

this is a great Idea but the community is full of casual players and lacks the depth to handle it. I would like to see it done, but that is highly unlikely.
They are noobproofing this game in many ways. Two headshots to kill so none will ragequit. out of area zones on the continents to promote zergfight, and the list goes on. If this wasn't the only true mmofps I would be gone right now. Always remember it's not you it's them |

hey thats a actually pretty cool, not bad idea. while we are on the subject of new ideas for the game just ponder this, i was thinking about this on the bus the other day lol. imagine if there was a hardcore mode in ps2 similiar to whats in D3 (diablo III). if your char dies then it gets erased and u have to start over from scratch, hence 'hardcore". well might be a little too strict for a fps game but still might add a bit of excitement to the game and see who is truly an elite fps gamer lol. give me feedback on the idea i love to bounce ideas with my fellow gamers.
