Forum notice said introduce myself, so here goes nothing. My name's Vanst (or Thirty Second Artbomb and its various soundalikes), I played PS1 during beta and live (I hope someone else remembers the Konried VS), stopped playing after BFRs were introduced, and recently came back into the community when I heard that Planetside 2 is going to be a real thing that will exist in the near future.
As far as gameplay goes: I drove the hell out of the Magrider back in the day - personal best was six hours without needing to pull a new one - with a side order of Thresher, Deliverer, and Skyguard driving as needed. Whenever I couldn't drive something, I'd lob grenades at people or fix other folks' vehicles for them. When I quit playing I'd hit the BR 20/CR 5 caps on my main character.
Notable exploits of mine include: Driving hover vehicles onto base walls; driving non-hover vehicles into not-quite-as-ridiculous locations, like the tops of the cavern capture buildings; accidentally sending a fully-loaded Sunderer backwards down a cliff face into the ocean at twice its maximum forward speed; parking a Liberator upside-down in mid-air in one of the caves completely by accident; being a dick to BFRs by emptying backpacks full of thumper-launched jammer grenades onto them from ridiculous distances; and finally, earning a chat mute from an SOE moderator for referring to the VS players on Searhus as "purple-helmeted warriors" in a 3 AM /comse victory message after spending all night hammering away at my keyboard organizing troops.
