I would never donate on big professional game companies. Why should I? They don't need my charity. They need a business plan that works in order to be long-time successful.

I'm also spending cash on in-game items. That's how it's planned to be and hopefully everything works out just fine.

Yes. Dreams do come true.

An aspect I feel is important to point out (it's in the FAQ thread I think, but still) is that the purely cosmetic items WILL be obtained only through real world cash in the current model. So things like those little devil horns they had on their helmets and other such things currently are designed to be obtained only with real money.

Anything that has REAL impact on the game is completely and totally free. You unlock them with points you get playing the game (and some of them can be bought with real money, if you're rich/impatient).

Yeh they need to put together a Call of Duty Elite, or Battlefield Premium package pretty quickly. Forking out 40 quid is fine to me for a new game to get access to pretty much everything.

5 pounds for a skin on my Scythe doesnt interest me, i could probably go months without buying anything VANITY BASED. Purely because representing the basic colours is more important to me, and that everyone else wll be doing it.

don't donate. Buy stuff in the store. That lets them know why you are giving them money(planetside2) and keeps the employees employed. They're a business not a charity. Let them know you like Planetside 2 with lots and lots of station cash.

Hope you mean split among you, because if I remember correctly, Station Cash is not transferable.

Not a problem if you can buy items as gifts for other players, which considering that such a thing would provide additional revenue streams, it would be absurd for the devs not to allow it.
