Beta "Alliance"?

As a newcomer to not only this forum but also the world of Planetside I do not have alot of "friends" on the interwebs that are going to play the game. I have a couple in real life but now I'm talking larger numbers.

Therefore, and since I couldn't find a similiar thread (please move if there is one), I decided to start this one.

Everyone who has a beta-key (and even those that don't) and will play PS2 quite frequently, which I assume are the most of us, please leave your account name, region (e.g EU, US) below so that we can all band together once the beta finally starts in what sources tell me are only a few weeks?

For example I'll start.

Account name:
Region: EU

Now hopefully this can turn into a thread where we all gather and organize for the upcoming beta test!

I don't think that sharing your account name is a good idea, is this what you're suggesting?

If you want to organize an outfit, I would recommend finding a free forum hosting website that you can get some sort of communication going between your members.

Once you have that together you'll be in a position to approach like minded outfits to get together to consider an alliance.

This is how I would recommend that you go about this.

Your uneasiness as to matching signatures is valid, yet easily explained. I am from the Canada Cybernetic Punks (that's .ca) and Proxy is from the American Cybernetic Punks (that's .com).

Since the Canadian Cybernetic Punks were formed later, we were not able to retain international trademark/merchandising rights, and therefore we are forced to use a different slogan.

I hope this clears things up for you.

I will give this post the benefit of the doubt as to its legitimacy.

There are too many people here, in too many different time-zones, with too many different preferences about playing the game, for everyone to join up in one group.
People do, however, form up in smaller sub-groups, equivalent to guilds or clans if you're used to them. They're called outfits in PlanetSide (which confused a lot of people at E3 when questions were asked about outfit customisation).

If you're interested in joining up with a group of people to play PlanetSide, post a message in the Looking for Outfit section of this forum, or browse the Outfit Recruitment section and send a private message to the person advertising one you like. I'm sure you'll have many new people to play with very soon.
