First off is what is the purpose of ANTS? I know they are like a resource truck and they collect NTUs, but whats the purpose of it? There is no money so I must be missing something here.
Second are TR MAXs, their anchors, does it prevent them from turning much? Like a 90 degree turn limit? and if so, would there be a short wait to redeploy the anchors so they cant constantly adjust? Lastly is on the AMS, does a pilot or some player have to be around it to remain maintained. By that I mean, keeping cloak on, respawning, etc.? |

Here are the answers to ur questions 1) The NTU's are a power source for any buildings that are under control by a specific faction. 2) I belive the anchor cannot be used constantly, i may be wrong on this one. 3) The AMS remains cloaked once it is deployed, the driver then may leave and return as he wishes. Hope that answers ur questions -Dark- CO [TEAR]

Think of NTUs as the 'comunnal' cash. You have to pay for stuff, but it comes out of a bank account that everyone has access to. You just have to fill it up periodically.
The anchor can be used for an unlimited time. You have a 60-90 degree arc of fire though. AMS remains cloaked. |

NTU's are a source of power. They are not money. When your base gets low on power you must recharge it. This is done by taking an ANT to a warp gate and charging it up, then transferring that power back to the base's NTU silo. As you use your base NTU's go down and eventually it needs to be charged again. When a base runs out of NTU's it goes neutral.
You can anchor as long as you want, yes it does decrease your range of movment. I dont know the exact numbers. Nobody needs to be around to keep an AMS operational. |

Thanks, but what I meant about the anchor, is there a time to wait before you can undeploy then deploy again (i.e. like 3 sec or so)? I'm asking this because, personally, I would use the anchor as much as possible, and if the enemy could run behind me, I just undo it turn around and deploy, thus to me = lame. Hope you know what I am saying this time.

Hamma, I think moleculor was using money as a metaphor.

Yup money was a metaphor.. wasnt needed thou its easy to explain without
You need power for the base to function. Creating equipment uses power, you only have a finite amount of power so it needs topping up periodically.
