A spaniard here, and sharing your same feelings. Still deciding whether I'll play on an EU server or an East coast based US server. I used to play on Emerald instead of Werner.

Western Europe, Republic of Ireland

Ireland is not part of the British Isles no matter what some dumb tommy like Rexdezi says
Which is why it's refered to as Britian & Ireland

As someone said British isles is geographic term not political. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Isles No one says Britain and Ireland abroad, everyone says British Isles so deal with it.

It reminds me of some of my countrymen who hate when someone states Croatia is a part of Balkans. Nationalism can make people stupid for sure.

Honestly I just think the term is wrong, like when someone uses "Global Warming" when refering to Climate Change, it's outdated and wrong. Look at the Etymology section of the wiki you linked.

Just click on any of other languages in tabs to the left and see how many mention Ireland in the title.... (Islas Británicas, Îles Britanniques, Brit-szigetek, Britse Eilanden, Ilhas Britânicas, Britanski otoci, even Oileáin na Breataine) Hmmm... none? Why? British isles is shorter, and honestly other people (nations) don't care about your local political disputes.

Map I posted shows clearly I meant GB and Ireland by that term so your choosing to pick WE only proves how ridiculous people can get when their government feeds them and encourages nationalistic nonsense. I know very well since we were fed heavily by nationalistic crap in my country too, however it is getting better.

p.s. I think we went off-topic too much, your point was noted but if you wish to debate this topic further I implore you to use the politic sub-forum. Thanks

Of course it is (partially at least), Dinaric mountain range was always considered to be on Balkan peninsula geographically. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balkans

God forbid that you mention Croatia in context of ex-Yugoslav region to our nationalists. It never ceases to amaze me how many complexes nationalists from small countries can have.

Yeah, enough of this since I don't want that to happen either. I hear and see too much of that nationalistic bs on daily basis so I'd like to avoid it here.

Bumping so browsing Euros can see and register.. I think there's more than just 110 of us here. Anyway it's amazing how quickly a thread can drop to page number 2.

Back to the topic, result so far are as expected - majority are english speaking european nations and Scandinavians. Very low numbers of people from EE and SE is expected since in my experience most people from those regions don't cope with english very well so it's only natural to see low numbers here on the forums. SEE however came as a surprise to me personally since I expected least people from this part of Europe.

^ Thanks for the bump immigrant

Wales here,

And on the relevence on the topic, its funny this being here when theres a few topics with many players from america speculating about the servers over there. We as Europeans are definitely a minority anyway.
