How's the multimonitor support?

Any plans for being able to distribute the large quantities of information available in game over more than one screen? Can we have one screen with our playing field on it and another with all the strategic maguffins and stats and such?

Does the game support multimonitor resolutions for those who like their three-screen wide angle views?

That would be pretty awesome if we could play on one monitor and have the map going on another.. Although, I have an iPad so if we can't do this I can always have the app up on that!

Agreed the only game that made any use of my dual monitors was Supreme Commander. I would dearly love this particularly from a command/pilot point of view.

Higby said in that MMORPG.com interview on the PSU frontpage that there would be support for it.

He said they're still working on it, and that they want to support EyeFinity. After that Tramell talking over Higby drowned out what else they wanted to support.

They also said they were gonna play around with TrackIR to see if it can or should work in PS2

That looks way cool. Even if it's just an impetus to add a proper 'lean' and separate look, that's a welcome development.

I really hope there's support for it like Supreme Commander had. Aside from MMOs, where I kept a browser open on my second monitor, that was the only game I've ever played where my second monitor was useful.

TrackIR would be great. I play a lot of ArmA, and like my flight sims (Try out http://warthunder.com/ for a good prospect) and feel lost going back to any game without TrackIR. Even if it was only for flying it would be cool.

Yeah, my 5850 was demo'ed with 6 monitors connected. It was only showing a race game of some sort, mind, so it might struggle a bit with something with a few more moving elements like a shooter (which is probably why they used a racer...). But they're planning for the game to be playable on 5 year old hardware, so that makes my year and a bit old card a bit more than twice as powerful, so dual screen should be easy; three may be a push. Not that I'll be able to get that rig, sweet as it might be. One day... one day.
