I joined VS in 2003. I liked their scientific approach for the future, I figured they'd have the smallest population and would get insulted the most for being purple (my 2nd fav color).

The players are friendlier and the versatile style of play suits me much better.

I will be going with TR because of the following reasons (in no particular order):
Mosquito's superior speed and its aestetics.
TR Infantry aestetics and TR ideals (I'd prefer slower, hard hitting weapons, but no way I'm going NC).
I learned about Planetside since TB covered it on YouTube, and it may or may not have influenced my decision.

I chose VS because at first, I felt that it had the most superior gameplay advantages for both infantry and vehicles , but then as I read through the PS lore I felt that they are the ones that deserve to win.

I chose NC so far because i dislike the weapon mechanics of the other 2 factions. There are other pro's and con. TR and VS are too popular. I hate the NC music but that is not going to make me play another faction. Maybe if NC proves to be worthless as far as skill, teamwork, outfits and combat operations, then I may need to rethink my choice.
