I was going to say my money is on a weekend start, seems more logical to be a friday or sat. Yet maybe the best time to test such a thing is a day that isn't peak time, hmm can't say i've taken note of many beta start days.

I remember seeing a tweet from him saying they would have something to announce on thursday. Didn't say the beta would start then.

edit: Actually he said it would be after some event which takes place on thursday. Don't remember what it was called.
