I've been reading all the OF ads, but since I've been out of the game for such a long time, I might find better answers by making my own offer, so old players might direct me towards the most appropriate OF, if they wish so.

Experiences: 30+ Quake 3 Arena Tournaments, PS1, Quake Live, Arma II, everlasting presence in EVE Online, Tribes and more.

Roles: Excluding the games where the only role is fragging, I've always been employed in espionage, spying and intelligence gathering. Which doesn't mean simply spotting targets, but giving out numbers, type, location and behavior of the enemy troops/units on a wide scale. A few "intel" ops have occupied me and fellows friends for days in enemy territory, with no way out, where respawn doesn't exist. Other ops forced me to join enemy ranks for espionage purposes for months. Everything with effectiveness, and no rambo shooting involved.

What'm looking for: I'm looking for an OF that actually needs this kind of player, I know SG well in example, from an outside point of view, but I'm worried about not being much of use in their large ranks, which might be wrong of course.

Let me know your thoughts and advices please.

Sounds like you'd either fit in with the Jet Bastards or one of our Comrade Clan's.

We're about half Aussie and half American and we've got a few token Europeans too and we'll likely be playing on American srvrs if there's no Aussie srvrs.

We're aiming for 60 highly dedicated highly skilled players who know exactly what is expected of them and how the man next to them works rather than 600 who are there because the Uniforms pretty. We are a Air Cavalry (definition link) Platoon with a major focus on teamwork and have got a plethora of roles on Ground and in the Air even for Special Forces/Saboteur types such as yourself. If you like the idea of deployment types ranging from turning up in a area in jets, a bunch of men jumping out and attacking places most sane people wouldn't even contemplate attacking while their mates strafe and bomb the area to highly organized commando raids behind enemy lines to take and hold a unguarded base with a strong need for scouts to guide us through a unguarded approach to maintain our surprise on the enemy (although one of our Comrade Clan's has volunteered for that on Multi Platoon outings).

To be real though man, even though I'd definitely appreciate having ya around and would find a spot for ya no worries, you sound like a great fit for Omega Company. They do a lot of unconventional tactics and will be the guys scouting ahead on our monthly multi Platoon outings. Infact I'll link their CO this page.
