News: Planetside 2 beta plans

Well, if new players to the game have no idea what to do when they log n then the dev team has failed to make a game that will attract and retain players. They need to either add in a tutorial, new player help pop-ups or something.

It shouldn't matter one bit weather you're a vet or brand-new to the franchise.

4 - PlanetSide vets do not need a beta key, their accounts will be flagged for beta and they will receive an email letting them know – if you are a PlanetSide veteran, make sure your station account email is up to date

I just ask because when my brother signed up for beta (he's a vet) he received no confirmation email, but when I signed up (not a vet) I did receive a confirmation email.

Just thought that was strange.

I highly doubt this is the case. This would be the last thing to happen. SOE is actively testing Radeon cards for PS2 and I have seen a few employees working on this game even buy 7900s for it. No reason SOE wouldn't want to be testing all the cards out there.

Being the grisly veteran I am. I made a video card out of bear flesh, wood and iron crafted from my own hands. My experiences from ps1 infected every aspect of my life, and made me a hardened, bold, individual. Only someone from a war like WW2 could know what I am talking about.

I carved Nvidia on the front so Nvidia users should play first in beta as well.

WW2 must have been laggy as hell. I don't think the servers could handle that many soldiers on the field at once.

Actually, I remember the History Channel mentioning that the only reason Germany lost at Normandy was because most of the German machine gunners got D/C'd because the load was too heavy.
