why do MAX unit need engineers to drop ammo ?????

i know there''s a trade off for everything in the game but why can't MAX units reload on their own, they're hard to take down but a MAX without any ammo is pretty useless and a MAX crash will be a short battle

They can reload on their own, eng's will just give them more ammo if they burn all theirs, should have more than enough unless you're holding somewhere with a team for ages

And if you don't have an engineer, you just run to an equipment terminal (to resupply, not reload).
