I see this as a great way to further increase player cohesion. you could be running around with your squad and just happen to see a fireteam somewhere that is setting up an arty cannon and YOU have the final piece to help them out.
these devices could be purchased with resources.
I literally just thought of this and havent thought a whole lot into it. tell me what you think?

I'm not sure how I feel about all this working towards creating player cohesion rather than just gathering dust (which I feel would happen). Until beta gets blown open and significantly more people get let in, we won't have any way of knowing whether PS2 will end up with PS1-level cooperation or devolve into what Battlefield 3 has become (crossing my fingers that won't happen).
If the former turns out to be the case, this sounds like an incredible idea, don't get me wrong. I just feel like, if the game turns out to not have a cooperative playerbase, the devs putting resources into something that will never get used is a waste of time.
