Hey everyone! I'm Rogin.

I've been gaming for...hell, it's hard to even remember now how many years. The same situation I'm sure many of you find yourselves in. I was raised on a healthy diet of Zelda and Mario, and eventually broke into PC games with things like Battlefield 1942, Half-Life, and the Total War series.

I've also played a lot of MMOs, and I enjoy most of them. But I never really stick with them, sometimes because of the gameplay, sometimes the community puts me off. Planetside 1 always intrigued me, but I never got around to playing it. I aim to change that in PS2.

Strangely, I've never actually bothered joining a community forum for any game in the past, mostly 'cause the community seemed lukewarm at best, but from the things I've seen, the PS community is a bit different, regarding tactics, faction loyalty, etc.

Anyway, that's enough of that. Just wanted to say hey! And I'm looking forward to fighting with, or against, you on the battlefield. (I'm currently leaning toward Vanu. Feel free to try and coerce me though )

Hey & welcome to the planetside community. That what you said about mario and zelda, i really miss those days sometimes. Quality of a lot of games has went downhill lately thats why im thankful for planetside 2 i think it should hopefully change all that. Great to meet you and welcome again. The VS is a great choice of faction btw. Great players, very friendly and big on teamwork. See you around the forums.
