yeah! and then we can balance the onset of angry underpaid gen repairers by introducing a labor outfit, that conducts raids on employment outposts (where the station cash generators will be located). Or, We could have a complaint document that you can spawn only at terminals in main bases, and you would have to run it back to the main warpgate to get exp. The more 'complaint documents' you run, the greater your station cash revenue increases for repairing gens!
There should also be a random number generator that determines, in a set number of gen repairs, an instance where you are injured while repairing gens. Then a message pops up saying that your employment package does not cover occupational hazards. From here, you can cert into rage mode which gives you a speed boost, more HP, your guns become the stationary turret cannons, and your eyes turn red for like a minute, and you would use this to rampage around the bases destroying everyone. If the devs do this, I think we will have a Game of the Year on our hands people...think about it... |

to encourage more people to repair the gens, the repair xp could rise a little. make it 10xp per repcount instead of 5, or even more.
i don´t feel like taking away cash opportunities from soe for they would have to look somewhere else to make up for the moneyloss.

Honest, I do think that engies need some loving when repairing things. I main as a repair/support man in every game I play and it has never been fruitful in XP with how much time it takes. The only way an engie can get a lot of points from his role is to babysit a bunch of MAXes turtled around a base. Even then the points given from repairs, ammo, the odd kill are nothing compared to what the people he's supplying get, let alone a good medic in an attack.
The engie feels like the only defensive class. All of the rest feel much better suited in most cases till you need to bunker down and require a lot of ammo. |

The engie takes the most work to play his role but is given far less XP than other classes. Hell, Iv repaired several spawn terms, base guns, and gennys without getting a single point. All while a lone medic can get massive amounts without firing a single shot in battle thanks to revives alone. Does it seem right to you to have one class not be rewarded for time consuming work when others rack in points with little effort? What engies do is VITAL for keeping a base, but get no love for it. |
