Been playing the Beta for weeks and there is still so much that isn't obvious to me. Don't know how to bail from a gal without killing myself, don't know how to engage a magburner, don't know what prefix people are typing to talk to a specific base.....Lots of little things that I don't see in keymappings. There needs to be something for the new players that layes out all the things that can be done and how.
Funny thing is when I try and ask in game, the only responses I get are from 12yos who would rather call me a noob *** then just answer a straight question. |

I'm sure there will be something of the sort in the game just before or on official release. I will answer the situations you have described, though.
1) Bailing out of a Galaxy should be safe to do as long as the surface on which you land is not at an odd angle. There are moments when deaths in this situation seem random; not sure exactly what the problem is, but it might still be a WIP. 2) Magburners are engaged by pressing Left Shift. Be sure you have put certification points into this function and equip it to your Magrider before spawning it at the vehicle terminal. 3) To see a list of / commands, press Esc and click "Support" in the bottom-left corner of the screen. There should be a "Command List" icon that comes up on the center of the screen that you can click. 4) It does seem there may be some keymap options missing, but keep in mind that this is beta. Sometimes it is just hard to find a certain keymap function, so keep looking until you are certain it is not there. Hope this helps! |

I'd like auto run as well.
As far as guides, yeah, it definitely needs one. I played for two days and finally decided I really needed a red dot sight. It took me two hours to figure out how to unlock it and attach it. Sure I could have asked, but I'm one of those proud idiots, I won't ask for help in stores or for directions either. |
