I'm very interested to see if the upcoming new "anti-vehicle" weapons also include AA variants.
The air/ground balance is a very delicate thing. I personally think it's about as good as it's ever been at the moment, and I spend half my time as a gunner in a Lib and the other half as a Skyguard driver. Even though the Skyguard earns me pitiful certs, it's quite effective at protecting Sundy's and base assault teams, specially when there's a few AA units working the same area. The mix of weapons being used ingame is changing daily. More and more AA is coming into play, and many people have clearly learned how to use their weapons more effectively. Add to that the effect of certs, which give those weapons bigger magazines and ammo reserves. If a few additional AA weapons are added and end up being widely used, it could have a major effect on the air game. Less air means more tanks, and it would be a disaster if we went back to "Tankside" as it was at one point in beta. |

I would be quite excited if the guns had a whole new set of skins. The others are all just slight variations, would be cool to get some new looking stuff. Look at the real weapons in modern day military. M16, M14, ACR, MP5, etc all look very very different, would be cool to get some larger variations of models in the game too.
