i havent seen anyone hacking yet but i agree this needs to be sorted out. SOE said they would have people online watching and people tracking stats to spot such bad actions and from the sound of it nothing is being done. this is very bad for SOE and for the game. if it gets a name for being hacked a lot no one will play and it will die like alot of other free to play games that have been hacked to death.

personally i think hackers need to get a life. if they cant play and have to cheat to be any good they should find something else they are good at like sleeping :P

There is no in-game option for recording? I just made a twitch acct and used the in-game option to stream, had some people on here make sure it was setup right. Then I was streaming w/ Nado(tho you could only hear him not me for some reason) while we ran around on Esamir.

I think the truth is you're just a crybaby. You can't face the fact that you're not up to par in PS2. Instead of attempting to get better you look at the top 20 list of the server and label them as cheaters. My suggestions is to keep reporting me if you honestly think I cheat, because in the end the csr's will get it right. They'll remove the ones who are cheating(some have been already) and then the ones left standing will be the ones you can find some other reason to cry about. Maybe it will be ping, maybe it will be p2w comments. Either way I'm convinced you're going to just be one of those people who are never happy and always need to have something to blame your failings on.

I honestly thought the "hacking" claims were just blown out of proportion by players, but I finally saw it when an Outfit member stated that an enemy player in a base was hacking. When I chased the player who was clearly in front of me at the time, was then instantly behind me. I was then one hit killed [unknown if headshot or ROF hack], and then the player blinked away to wherever raking up more kills.

This does have me concerned seeing as we are just a month into this game. What will this game be like in a year with the hacking situation? Only time will tell.

Assist streamed for around 6 minutes today, but he stopped streaming because in his words "I was calling him a noob".

I suspect it was because he was getting owned by everyone he tried to fight, except for two people who didnt even shoot back (In the first ten seconds the stream went live lol *cough* alt accounts).

He refused to stream anymore.

He also had a person named fcutter or fcuddle on his voice comms. Wasn't he one of the hackers from beta?

Assist, Noda, can't be banned soon enough. He was making excuse after excuse after excuse, first denying that he was on voice comms even though I could hear him talking. Then denying who the people were.

Then he just kept sending me tells wondering why I cared so much about people hacking and that I should stop being so aggresive about it. I told him that just because he didn't think he would get caught and he might have spent station cash, does not excuse cheating.

I then told him to STFU and go play Darkfall and cheat there, and leave Planetside for the poeple that care about and enjoy the game.

(BTW supposedly 70% of the Darkfall playerbase downloads hacks to play the game). It is his self admitted favorite game. Make of that what you will.

So i killed Sinist near Allatum, he whined that I was cheating(owned by mag). Then he started whining in tells so I started a stream, he wasn't watching since he was crying to me about being killed by a sniper whom he claimed was hacking. So I turned it off after a few minutes, others here watched me stream and know I'm legit. He knows I wasn't hacking, I guess he's just trolling at this point. Hackers are like 300:1 k/d/r and I'm hovering around 4 lifetime.

I know some people are bad at this game, but like I said before I expected more out of the veteran PS1 community. Sinist claims he was #1 all time base captures and #6 all time kills in PS1, if that's true it puts into perspective for me what I thought was a solid PS1 community. The worst was he continued to send me tells for about an hour after I ended the stream and the ridiculous amount of racism and stereotyping he made.
For what he claims to be, he's a sad individual and it's no wonder that GM's and customer service reps don't take all the hackusations seriously when you have dipshits like Sinist whining, kicking, and screaming like a child about every single person who is better than them.

There was a player in the NC warproom on MIller last night whose movements suggested he was using an aimbot (snapping from position to position).

I'm too crap at the game to know whethr I've ever been on the receiving end of anyone using a cheat, though - it's just another death for me, one among the myriad

I've seen a couple of people who might have been cheating, or might have been lagging. I prefer not to jump to conclusions.

I did get reported for griefing, though! My drop-pod took out a friendly Lib, killing myself and the two occupants. Which is what I get for drinking tea and shovelling down toast whilst it's descending instead of trying to steer the damned thing properly.

One of the Lib passengers immediately reported me for deliberate griefing. And he and his buddy both TK'd me, one of them twice.

That's ridiculous. Griefing means someone is actively killing someone, typically with guns, over and over again. Who reports griefers anyways? Does SOE even do anything with that? There's a grief system in place to handle this issue.
