You mean the medals you get for kills with weapons? You get a cert reward when you gain one.

Metals are nothing more than a means to reward actions with certs and to show off to your friends....if they care.

Sadly even SOE sucumbs to using medals for keeping a carrot dangling infront of a donkey's face to motive it to move forward. We are not all donkey's fake Ranks & Medals mean nothing if they do not impact gameplay or serve a purpose in the game.

Let's say you get a special unlock once you medal out on a weapon or something....then maybe it would be worth it to care....for some.....

Me I am more interest in locking all the continents and standing on the throad of the enemy forever.....that's why I have 2 feet.
