Look at the faces in that header graphic.. anyone think that these look a helluva lot more detailed and "gritty" realism than the faces we've seen in the older screenshots? They're so far more detailed and wonderful looking I hope they're not some photoshopped CG heads for the webpage.. dig up some older screenies and look at the constipated squintiness of the old faces, and tell me you aren't hoping they look like this new set.

The TR heads look much better than heads even in BF1942 and other games out now.. they just have a "weight" to them, unlike the cartoonish charicatures UT2k3 has. I remember Dave said something about them re-doing all the faces, and if this is the final product, I can't wait to see more :O

Oh yes, the goggles. What were they thinking when they made them? If they took the goggles out I would be TR 100% but I'm still having doubts and that is ALL because of the goggles. I like their weapons, vehicles, and colors better than any other empire but goggles... Come on devs, lose the goggles and get something more like the NC but make it so we can choose if it's transparent or not.

I totally agree with Rocket on this one. Diversity is king and tyrant. The goggles get the in my book.

They could still make the goggles look cooler instead of a perfect circular shape. Maybe more ovalized (is that even a word?) or something like that. Right now, all the TR look like geeky scientists or something...

Im sure there will be plenty more, I think that face looks great and it is DEFINATLY somthing newer than we have seen before. As for the goggles, somthing so trivial is not going to make me reconsider my empire

Who knows, maybe the hot Vanu chicks will like them.

Reason for the goggles:

The TR is a buncha cheepo's and cares so little about their troops they wont waste money on face playes, you get goggles. Deal with it.
