Bases....Where the hell and how do i

I was at Ikanam Bio lab, on Amerish I think it was, running all around on ground trying to find a way up inside, can someone PLZ link info for the diff base layouts and ways inside...OMG I just want to slap the devs, PS1 was NEVER this damn frustrating!!!! I've been to another bio lab which always has one side main up jump pad that never works for me either.

map symbols for bases, gens equip terms etc.....not being able to zoom into the main map close enough or the mini-map is again another frustrating thing, also I don't understand the symbols themselves, wiki helped a little but didn't seem to list EVERY symbol used. this game is getting to a don't want to play stage for me very very quickly, and I really want to as a 1.5yr PS1 player who was really looking forward to this, it is NOT PS at all, its more like painted stripes on a donkey and them calling it a zebra.....yeah righttttt!

I mainly play VS but i'm likeing more and more NC due to them mainly TRYING to group n actually use some strategy, my dear VS just seemed to be....aggrrrhhhh lately, and TR on my friends server such a pain omg.

another thing, I really wanted to play ENG n drop mines, motion detectors etc but that's lacking in this one, so I usually roll LA or HA if I must. I H-A-T-E any air with extreme passion, WAY too OP!!! AA max needs a buff, libs a nerf!!! theres so much more I could rant about but I think I've done a lot of that already....so disappointed in this game, i'll keep trying it for now but.....sigh

almost forgot, I would really, REALLY, REALLY want a way to toggle or adjust the HUD markers for friendlies n such, I've died a good bit from holding my fire so I didn't blast a friendly only to find out too late that it was an enemy. Hope theres a way to set a distance to it so ones farther than say 100m or 200m wouldn't show. a range finder on guns would be nice also. A way to make player names LARGER would be nice, I have to be right next to someone to read their name!

Biolabs have a maximum of three teleporters. These are the tube icons you see on the minimap. Some biolabs (like Ikanam) have four satellite bases; one of those satellites won't have a teleporter, it will only have a jump pad. Jump pads are not labelled in any way and can be difficult to find a lot of times.

For instance, at Ymir, which is another biolab with four satellites, the jump pad for one of the satellites is up on top of a building. I think this is also the base that has a jump pad way up a hill and almost 50m away from the closest building.

Saurva's jump pads are on top of two of the gate towers.

It can be frustrating, but you kind of have to go on a scavenger hunt to find those jump pads and familiarize yourself with the different biolab layouts.

To enter a bio lab... Run away from the base. Till you come across an outpost. That had two ways to get you in: jumppad and teleporter.

Yeah. Very intuitive and connected fight...

People complained (some did) that bases in Planetside 1 were all the same. The result is that bases in Planetside 2 are all the same and now no one can find their way around.

There are three ways for an attacker to get into a Bio Lab. Jump pads from outlying outposts(sometimes), teleporters from outlying outposts and elevators onto the air pad from tower like structures (sometimes). Everyone is different so you need to learn them all off by heart.
