What do you think of social strategy MMOs?

I started playing eRepublik a couple years ago, and enjoyed it. I then found eSim last year and started to get into it as well. Recently though I have discovered another start-up for social strategy MMOs called WorldAlpha, found here http://www.worldalpha.com. Anybody else play social strategy MMOs like these? They are different than other MMOs, as you really have to depend on other players to make things happen. Just wondering what you guys thought about these type of social strategy MMOs.
