So what the hell is up with jump jets?!

In the patch notes yesterday I read that they have finally fixed the issue where jump jets doesn't improve after upgrading them. Eager to try this out, I got to the Warp Gate, and tried to fly up to the landing platform. I wasn't able to do this before, but now it finally worked!

So I was thinking... "Good..about time!" But when I log in today I noticed a new patch... and now the jump jets are back to the way they were before.

Did anybody else notice this? What the hell is up? (I've got all upgrades except for the last one)
