Damn, they weren't kidding about lighting up stealthers OR reducing normal vision look at that! Thats like twenty meters, and he can barely see that MAX!

I actually kinda like that... gives stealthers a chance. You can turn the implant on and of, infact, you're going to have to, so it's not that big of a deal. If you're fighting like normal, just turn off your implant and fight. If you suspect a stealther is nearby, turn on your Darkvission implant.
