Well honestly, I'd rather the ES weapons were held off for the ES buggies anyway.

I completely agree with this. I know a lot of people are hoarding certs for the Harasser... but I'd rather pimp out the empire specific buggy first. Of course, I have longer to wait but oh well.

Fine with me, Harasser should be all NS anyway. Save ES for Buggies

As long as there is a good reason to still pull a harasser over an ES Buggy... i'm cool with this.

Perhaps give the harasser a really unique NS weapon that cannot mount on the ES buggies, or don't give a rumble-seat to the ES buggies or something.

I don't really want to see the Harasser become just a poor mans buggy.

P.S. shield defuser on the harasser is a fucken cool addition.

Allowing ES weapons on the buggy would just have led to them being nerfed, and the MBT drivers wouldn't have liked that

This can be achieved with the defence/utility slots and versatility I think.

The variants of the ES weapons can be deployed on the ES buggies, making them into fast attack vehciles.

The harraser gets access to more of the utility slots. Stealth and shield diffsuer for example. Whereas the ES buggies could get access to the repair and re-arm slots.

It would also be possible to give the ES buggies access to the faction activated ability.

So both have a role to play.

You could also limit the range of top guns on the ES buggies. Not allowing them any of the NS AA guns for example.

While we are on the topic of ES weapons, I would like to see that if we DO get ES weapons on ES buggies, can we please for the love of god get something better than the PPA?

On anything other than the Scythe, that weapon is completely unviable for killing infantry. Slow movespeed, movement inheritance on the projectile is weird, the gun itslelf glows bright as the sun at nighttime, and it takes 2-3 shots to kill infantry (if it even hits!).

Probably because they need to test the balance of the buggies how they are going to be when they launch. Keeping a turret on them that won't launch with GU08 is only going to throw their numbers off.
