Don't really care. If SOE thinks that's what the game needs (more customization options) well then go for it. It's wrong, but that hasn't stopped them in the past. And even if we say no to it... anyone remembering the roadmap? I think we all know how that ended.
That they are even considering it... ah well. I stopped caring/wondering about the mysterious ways of SOE some months ago. I just try to enjoy the game while it lasts.

I don't see the point, especially if we have to use SC to acquire said customisations.

It's another cow to milk. On it's own it's a sound enough idea to implement because people will customize that when they've run out of distractions, interest and customizations elsewhere.

My personal stand point is considering the length of time it's on screen, the frequency with which players just appear minus a drop pod anyway; is its one of the dumbest money grabs on the table. Probably up there when they toyed with the notion of buying a "cosmetic" that allowed you to remove your helmet... "pay us money to /unequip helm". Smooth.

But if the masses are happy to lap it up - why not?

No... No you were not harsh, actually you could have been a lot harsher... ? is harsher a word.... Ill have to look that one up. But any who, the next question that I want to hear out of T-Ray or any of the SOE guys mouth is "Are you guys ready for some new game content". Im sick of new cammo, new weapons, and any thing else that is going to require certs or money. I want new vehicles, continents and get this damn lattice system up and running, it gets expensive changing continents and having to give up my vechicle everytime.

The only reason why I would be against adding in the ability to add on maneuvering thrusters is because that would kinda make the recent drop pod change a bit pointless.

Will SOE deliver it so I can park it in my yard? If so, I'm down. If not, I'll pass through the terrain into the pixeled oblivion referred to as, "meh, it's not on the screen long enough for me to care - not that I can see it anyway".

Now if dancing girls popped out and danced for 30 seconds after landing, that I would buy. Exclusively for its tactical distraction value, of course.
