Oks I will tell you. The stealth suit is not always on, you can only cloak when not on/in a vehicle. (other then the wraith). There is no limit to how long you can cloak. 24/7 if you want. Just fyi. You can turn it off and on too. Team mates can see you when your cloaked because your name will still be green and floating above your head =p (They cant see your body though, just the name)

Remember that in the dev interview part 3 that something was said about how invisible you are is directly related to how fast you are moving (unless i read it wrong). Other than that I do not feel that stealths will be useless. They were never intended to be killers.... more like scouts and to some degree speical ops missions and sabatoge. The tatics in this game will be mind boggling

yeah i've heard that you could have a stealth person standing right in front of you, and as long as they dont move, you wouldn't see a thing.

What if the person is just moving his feet very slowly? Does that uncloak him?

What if he needs to go the bathroom? Will he be able to unzip himself and take a quick leak without uncloaking himself?

What I was saying is there is a different degrees of stealth is seems... for example... if your standing still you see nothing... if you are run you are still invisible but there some sort of visual distortion that an observant player may pick up.... I be wrong on this whole thing.

No, you're probably right. Similar to how Predator cloak from the Aliens vs Predator games work, I imagine.

DLV will likely be used by 1 person per squad idealy. This person will most likely be useing a short ranged, powerfull weapon. Chaingun or Jackhammer seem like they would be popular.

I think they saw the flaw in DAoC's assassins(compleatly invisible) so they added DLV and the movement modifier to force them to be scouts/sabateurs or have to ambush with their melee weapon.

DLV will probably be used by many stealthers as well to catch the enemy. Another popular Implant with stealthers will be Melee Enhancer(double knife damage).

This, however, still makes stealth seem kind of lame. Something to consider would be duel knife slots for the Stealth for Duel wielding. Doesn't seem to unbalanced because it IS melee and they have wait for the enemy to get to them to they can have the element of suprise.

Or another cool option would be a Disarm cert. Using a special knife maneuver you do normal knife damage but disarm the enemies current weapon and he would have to either pick it up or switch.

If I decide on making a small outfit that is mainly focused on stealth, sabotage, and infiltration I won't use the Darklight for the simple fact that I can see their green names over their heads
