Taking down MAXes?

I was wondering what weapons everyone uses to deal with enemy maxes, since i seem to be having a bit of a hard time with them

The Decimator, inaccurate but it'll work. AP rounds in the Punisher or the Cycler also work too. But the Decimator is more fun.

TR Striker outdoors and Decimator indoors.. that is the best

Yep, the AV cert weapons will help you with MAXs, although it still takes 3 to take a full health MAX down.

AP ammo does some damage, but you need to attack in numbers. If not, just try and get behind the MAX and hope the driver isnt too bright.

As a side note, normal (white) ammo does slightly better damage than the knife in second mode, which isnt saying much.

There's nothing quite as satisfying at besting one of those human tanks on its own turf

...though, killing those silly vanu in mid-air with a phoenix is very fun...

the phoenix or the TOW rocket as most of us call it works really well vs everything but men MAXs dead air tanks and buggys works so well i keep 10 rounds on me

I was on a counter hack mission. It was after a shitload of plasnades (10 to be exact). He was on the verge of death. That was all i couild find at the time to give him a little shove. I actually had to kill the infiltrator with him and scavenge the pistol from the coffin. While the MAX was lookin for me. I was in an infiltrator suit. But still... if he had just spammed in my direction it woulda been over. This was also prolly my 5th or 6th attempt. Thats why the all nade loadout. I was counting on pilfering a REK on the sceen.
