Is there a way to distinguish a commander out of the rest of the... mob? Or do all get the same armor looks, just depending on battle ranks?

If You can pick out a commander I think the snipers just got a new objective...

Perhaps, but I don't think killing off a commander will impact a squad that much...I mean if u got 1 life in this game and he died, MAYBE...but I think commanders are brighter yellow for NC.

You get spiffy ornamental crap for Command Rank.

Also if you look at the pic's OMA put up, the right one has a bigger shin pad. This is because he is CR 1. CR 1-Right Shin Pad, CR 2-Left Shin Pad, CR 3-Right Shoulder Pad, CR 4-Left shoulder Pad, CR 5-???Big Neck Brace Thing???

TR people look the best at BR7. They lose the dark gray clothing (it turns black) and get some more red. At BR20 their armor is a dull red, not the vibrant red of BR7, and their clothing is back to that damn dark gray colour. It really sucks when your highest rank uniform looks worse than your second lowest.

Ok, at BR7 you get the first uniform change, then at what BR do you get the next uniform change?

One can only first assume that it goes in multitudes of 7. So for BR color changes it would be 7,14,20. Much like how Implants are acquried at multiples of 6, ya know 6,12,18.

I am playing a Battle Rank 7 Command Rank 2 character. I want more than just two barely noticable legpads to show that I am a commander. Why not a different helmet with some sort of marking on it along with the legpads?

I'm fine with the leg and shoulder pads, but that neck brace looks horrible in my opinion. I think at CR5 a new helmet (maybe a beret for standard armor) or maybe a whole new uniform would be better.

I've got a Battle Rank 7 NC soldier, with no Command Rank right now. I've made it a habit to salute everyone with any Command Rank that is higher than me. Guess it's the Role-Player in me...
