Vehicle animations

hey does anyone know how to set in graphics settings so you get the animation of jumping into a vehicle instead of that bar going by

so did i..... hmm.. the only time I get the bar is in VR, every other time I get the animation... and I've had it on all settings from recommended to high

Any body know why when i log on to the sanctuary why everything is burried in this thick purple haze?

Sounds like a personal problem. I've actually never heard that visual problem before...

considering it was the first time ive even ever been able to access the sanctuary... i doubt it was darklight

maybe it gave me darklight for some reason, how do u turn it off if they did? (yeah im a noob)

I highly doubt you'd start with darklight. If you did, it'd be on your quickbar and you'd hit the function button that enables/disables it. F1 is usually where your first implant goes. But again, I highly doubt you had it. If you had darklight going with no implant, you screwed. If it repeats, type /bug and send it in.

I dont know what the purple fog is for sure. But I had the same problem in Anarchy Online. If you have bad graphics card or comp in general I think it might put the fog on and make the radius that u can see very small. This reduces lag but makes it so u cant see anything. Go to video options or whatever planetside has and look for FOG ON/OFF or like visual radius. Somethin like that. Thats what it was in AO but PS could be way different, just given some ideas.

In your windows display properties, advanced, Direct3D.. Try enabling Fog Table Emulation. Works for many to escape the "no textures" bug.

There is a guage for viewing distance if that helps.

Thanks, ill try that when the servers are back up. graphics card should be ok but who knows. i was also thinkin that maybe its part of that memory leak the dev news was talking about... oh well, c'est la vie
